Alma Elizabeth Hughes, 85, of Westminster, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born July 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Olen George Light and Louise Elizabeth Light. She was the wife of the late Raymond Allen Martin.

Alma retired from Bullock’s Family Restaurant after 30 years of priding herself in making sure the salad bar was always at its best.

She is survived by her children Shelby Jean Martin and Michael Allen Martin and his wife Susan, numerous brothers and sisters and 6 grandchildren.

She is predeceased by a daughter Shirley Ann Martin.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
