Amelia Tobia, 93, of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.  She was born September 22, 1930 in Buffalo, New York to Italian immigrants Francesco and Marietta Zaccagnini.  She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Tobia, Sr. who predeceased her in 2021.

She was a wonderful cook, seamstress and knitter who also enjoyed reading and most of all, spending time with her family.  Amelia was always extremely proud of her Italian heritage.

She is survived by daughters Marybeth Zyla (Andrew) of Westminster, MD; Cathy Naylor of Charlotte, NC; a son Thomas Tobia, Jr. (Donna) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren Gretchen, Megan, Alex and great-grandchildren Amelia and Evelyn.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Prayer services will be held at 11 a.m.  Private burial will be at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
