Anita Lee Wineke, 86, of York, PA, died Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation.  Born January 20, 1939 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Dolores (Smullen) Siegmund and Carl Siegmund.  She was the wife of the late John Earl Wineke.

She was a homemaker and after she raised her two children she was very involved with her granddaughter and then with her great-grandchildren spending time with them on adventures and making memories. She loved her plants, people and driving her friends in need to appointments or just for a ride. She could talk to anyone about their life and make them laugh, it was her gift.

She is survived by children Lucille Ann Wineke and husband Maury Richter and Michael Wineke and wife Vicki, granddaughter Cherona Pleitez and husband Oscar, great-grandchildren Kyle and wife Aline, Gabriela, Brandon and Gianna, great-grandchildren Viliaya, Thiago and Kalianne.

Services will be private at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Baltimore.
