Annie Hein Obituary

Annie Hein, 88, of Randallstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 in Reisterstown, MD.  Born September 8, 1936 in Spangenberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Else Kasper. 

She survived World War II and at the age of 21, came to the United States in 1957.  Once here, she met and married Gustav Hein, and they raised their three children, Gary Hein, Danny Hein and Theressia Shoup of Randallstown, MD.  Annie owned and operated Old World Deli and Bakery.  She was a member of Zion Church in Baltimore City, enjoyed knitting, crocheting and bingo.

Annie is survived by children Gary Hein and wife Jennifer; Danny Hein and wife Billie Jo and Theressia Shoup and husband Walter, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brothers Gerhard and Werner.  

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Memorial services will begin at 12 p.m. 

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or memorial donations in her name to the National Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
