Barbara Lee Bloom Obituary

Barbara Lee Bloom, 65, of Sykesville, died Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Copper Ridge. Born September 16, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Owen Walter Carroll and Norma Dee Jobe.


She worked as a CNA. She liked lighthouses, listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and her favorite song was “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.


She is survived by her 3 children Rachel Koontz of Hagerstown, Tyler Bloom of Manchester and Courtney Bloom of Manchester and their father Raymond Dewitt Bloom III;  sister Beth Carroll of Nashville, TN; and 3 grandchildren Ryleigh, Adalyn and Jackson.


The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ed Brower officiating. Interment will be private.
