Barbara Lee Shatzer Troutman, 79, of Abbottstown, PA. died Thursday , February 27, 2025 at UPMC Hanover. Born January 4, 1946 in Gettysburg, PA. she was the daughter of the late Harold Bruce Shatzer and Alice Millisent Thomas Shatzer. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Rich Troutman.

Before retiring she was a delivery driver for Hock’s Floral Designs and was a school bus driver for the Carroll County Board of Education. She loved spending time with her grandsons and reading. She was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hanover, PA.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children Rick Troutman (Kirstie) of Hanover, PA and Kirsten A. Strauss (Michael) of Littlestown, PA; two grandsons Colton Michael Strauss and Andrew Tyler Troutman; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 10 siblings.

The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
