Benjamin Franklin Crowl, Jr., 88, of Westminster, died on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Dove House. Born on June 1, 1933 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Crowl, Sr. and Annabel Crawmer Crowl. His loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Beard Crowl, died on March 11, 2021.
Ben was the founder of Ben’s Rentals Inc. in Westminster in 1965. He retired in 1991. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the Moose Lodge #1381 and VFW Post 467. He was also a member of Door to Virtue Masonic Lodge #46 AF&AM.
He is survived by two children Kathy Lynn Crowl and companion Billy Cogar of Diana, West Virginia, and Kevin D. Crowl and wife Sue of Reisterstown; one sister Patricia Ann Brown of South Hill, Virginia; four grandchildren Kayla Stottlemire and husband Allen of Reisterstown, Lynsey Crowl of Westminster, Cole Benjamin Cogar and companion Tara of West Virginia, Roy Frush and wife Denise of Virginia; great-grandchildren Camden, Ruby, Nora, Daphne, Autumn, Alana, Allen, III.
Services will be private.
