Benjamin Shamer Obituary

Benjamin Cole “Ben” Shamer, 26, of Westminster, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 4, 2021, at his residence.  Born May 24, 1994 in Westminster, he was the son of Robin (Cole) Shamer and Dennis M. Shamer of Westminster. 

He most recently worked for Performance Food Group and Piney Branch Golf Club.  He was a graduate of North Carroll High School and enjoyed flea markets, sports and baseball cards.

Besides his parents, he is survived by grandparents Samuel and Joyce Cole of Westminster; aunts and uncles David Shamer IV, Frank Shamer (Kathy), Michelle Houston (Donald), Holly Drake (Jason) and Sherry O’Neill (Joe).  Also survived by numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by grandparents David E. III and Shirley Shamer, aunt Deborah Grammer and cousin Jacob Grammer.

Private memorial services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Please have flowers delivered by 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Stone Chapel United Methodist Church, 1448 Stone Chapel Rd., New Windsor, MD 21776.
