Betty Louise Reese

Betty Louise Reese, 88, of Hanover, PA., formerly of Westminster, died on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. Born on October 6, 1933 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late William Joseph Sinnott and Rose Ziegler Sinnott. Her husband William Ralph Reese, Sr. died on March 13, 1990.

Before retiring Betty was an LPN at Rosewood State Hospital. She enjoyed family gatherings and dancing.

She is survived by four children, Dinah Reese and companion Gary Stonesifer of Westminster, Rosalind Reese of Hanover, PA., Sandra Forney and husband Michael of Hanover, Pa., William “Ralph” Reese and companion Sharon Aponte of Reisterstown; six siblings William T., Richard W., and George E. Sinnott, Lorraine Fowble, Mary Garber, and Linda Haines; five grandchildren Missy Sanders, Deidra Wetzel, Laurie Forney, Chastity Forney, and Ryan W. Reese; great-grandchildren Brooke Rumsey, Alexis Sanders, Brittney, Megan, and Dylan Motter, Brenden, Owen, and Lincoln Forney-Ensor, Madylin Reese; and great-great-granddaughters Isabella Smith and Harper Rumsey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Richard Sinnott officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
