Brenda Davis Cunningham, 78, of Westminster, died Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Ridge Overlook from a 4-year battle with Dementia.  Born February 28, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy B. Logue and Elias “Pete” N. Davis. 

Before retiring, Brenda owned and operated buses for Carroll County Public Schools.  She also co-owned David Shoe Store with her father in her later years and was a bus driver for the Arc Carroll County.  She was a 1963 graduate of Westminster High School and member of the American Legion Carroll Post No. 31 Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose No. 897. 

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and family always came first.  She loved spending her spare time with her beloved dogs and weekends were spent with family and friends dancing at the legion talking with friends.  Anyone who met her loved her.  She was a very hard worker, always doing her best at everything.  In her younger years, she was an avid horse rider for pleasure and show.  She was a vet tech at Reisterstown Veterinarian Center where she enjoyed animals, especially horses and dogs.

She is survived by daughter Kimberly A. Taylor, son David L. Bollinger and wife Milisa, grandchildren Tyler D. Bollinger, Alisha L. Brauning (Matt), David L. Bollinger, Jr. (Brittany), Tanner H. Poore (Rachel) and David H. Taylor, IV, great-grandchildren Hayley Bollinger, Wyatt Brauning, Macie Brauning and Logan Poore.

She was predeceased by a sister Karen Lynn Riggleman and son-in-law David H. Taylor, III.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Celebration of Life Services will begin at 3 p.m.
