It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carolyn Ripple Lenz, who passed away on January 10th at the age of 89. Born on June 4, 1935, in Baltimore MD, she was the daughter of Ervin and Ruth Ripple. She was the loving wife of 70 years to William Alexander Lenz Jr.

Carolyn Ripple Lenz lived a fulfilling life and enjoyed entertaining and spending time at the beach with family. She also had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden, which was always in full bloom. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles and playing games with family and friends in her free time.

Carolyn was a kind and generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her warm personality.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Muscalli and husband Michael; son William Lenz III and wife Lisa; daughter Ellen Lenz and husband Rick Browne; son Robert Lenz and wife Marie and daughter Jean Watkins and husband Mark; grandchildren Korissa, Kamrin, Graysen, William IV, Lauren, Meghan, Douglas, Ryan, Christina, Renee, Nicholas, and Amanda; 11 cherished great grandchildren; and sister Betty Fanshaw.  All will miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her son, John Lenz, and sister Doris Seward.

The family will receive friends from 11am – 1pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation service, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD. A memorial service will begin at 1.
