Catherine Elizabeth Powell

Catherine Elizabeth Powell, 67, of Westminster, died Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Carroll Hospital.  Born July 4, 1954 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Delores M. Hale (Robert) and William F. Cook.  She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Edward Eugene Powell, Jr. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by children Michael W. Powell (Sunshine), David E. Powell and Adam C. Powell (Emileigh), sisters Joyce M. Dantoni (Fred) and Gloria J. Downey (Richard), sisters-in-law Holly Cook, Catherine Tripp and her significant other Michael Hall, Diane Singletary (William), Christine Kelly (Terry), brothers-in-law Joseph W. Powell (Cindy) and Edward E. Powell, grandchildren Steven Powell (Lisa), Christian Powell (Katlyn), Kaitlyn Roth (John Sr.), Derrick Powell and fiancé Ashley, Kelsey Powell, Sadie Roth (Bobby), Kourtney Wilson (Damian), Emily Powell, Ethan Chamberlin (Hanna) and Kimberly Powell, great-grandchildren Sean Kassakatis, Sophia Roth, John Roth, Jr., Brantley Ford, Z’cariah Sterling, Bentley Roth, Carsyn Roth and Jeremiah Powell.  Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Kimberly L. Powell and brother William G. Cook.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:30 p.m.  Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
