Charles Wesley Tolle, Sr., 80, of Hanover, PA, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at BridgingLife Dove House. Born October 9, 1945 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Idell (Keller) Tolle and William A. Tolle. He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Tolle.
Before retiring he worked as a Baltimore City Fire Officer. He was a volunteer for Westminster Fire Dept. and served in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed golf and watching the Ravens, Orioles and Capitals.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons Chip Tolle (Tanya) of Westminster and Bryan Tolle (Allie) of Valdez, AK; grandchildren Wesley, Morgan and R.J. Tolle.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Donna Marie Tolle who died August 3, 2020 and brothers William and James Tolle.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Charles to the Dove House, c/o BridgingLife Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
