Christine B. Conover

Christine B. Conover, 87, of Westminster, died on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living. Born on September 21, 1934 in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Dr. John Brennan and C. Ethel Tiedeken Brennan. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry Conover.

Before retiring, Christine was a Social Worker for the State of Maryland, Carroll County Department of Social Services. She attended Chestnut Hill College. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church for 62 years, and a former member of the Pleasant Valley Lions and Westminster Elks Lodge. She was an avid bridge player.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Kevin Conover (Jacqueline) of Berwyn Heights, Susan Mauck (Michael) of Burtonsville, and Carole Conover (Alisha) of Finksburg; five grandchildren, Shelby, Sara, Kathleen, Megan, and Ryan; and daughter-in-law Terri McClelland of Taneytown.

She was predeceased by one son, Scott Conover, and two brothers, John Brennan and Dr. James Brennan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St John Catholic Church with Father Rey Landicho officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
