A proud veteran, he served in the US Army, Corp of Engineers for two years. For 60 wonderful loving years, Dean and Ruth were not only devoted partners but also each others’ best friend. He especially cherished his role as Pop to his five grandchildren, always eager to share his memories and talents with them.
