With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Colleen Sartori, age 78, on August 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 30, 1946, Colleen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio ("Tony") Sartori, Colleen shared a beautiful life with him, raising five wonderful children: Rickey (and wife Terri), Kathy Miller (and husband Cary), Anthony (and wife Judith), John (and wife Cynthia), and Charles (and wife Angela). Her children were the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to nurturing them with boundless love, guidance, and unwavering support.

Colleen leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her fourteen grandchildren: Morgan Fisher, Kaitlyn Sartori, Nicolette Morrissey, Benjamin Miller, Taylor Turpin, Allie B. Sartori-Franklin, Bailey Sartori, Jordan Sartori, Brady Sartori, Regan Sartori, Talia Sartori, Charlie Sartori,  Amber Menges, and Blaze Menges; and her great-grandchildren: Mason Turpin, Grayson Turpin, Cameron Morrissey, Baby Boy Sartori-Reiner, Aubrey Moore, Kayden Menges, Keaton Menges, Briar Menges and Blayke Menges, who brought her endless joy.

Colleen's home was a haven for her community—a place where friends and family always found warmth and welcome. It was the heart of countless holidays and celebrations, often filled with bottles of wine, pans of homemade lasagna, and Colleen’s famous German apple cake. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit made her house a true home for all who entered.

Colleen found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially attending yard sales and church. These activities brought her peace, fulfillment, and a sense of community. Colleen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 11 a.m.  The viewing will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a service immediately following at The Chapel, 1144 Bollinger Road, Littlestown, Pennsylvania where we will gather to celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman who touched so many hearts. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, MD. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
