Connie M. Bowers, 78, of Littlestown, PA, died Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Pappus House in Thomasville, PA. Born February 9, 1947 in Patapsco, MD, she was the daughter of the late Noah Garland Green and Naomi Edith Knight Green. Survived by her husband of 45 years Claude S. “Sonny” Bowers.

Before retiring she was a factory worker. She was a member of the Patapsco United Methodist Church. She loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter Tina Ruppert and companion Patrick McMaster of Littlestown; daughter Leah Miller and husband Roland Miller of Hanover; stepdaughter Tammy Griffin and husband Jimmy Griffin of Colorado Springs; stepdaughter Michelle Silverman and husband Russell Silverman of Marysville; grandchildren Jennifer Ciostek and husband Timothy Ciostek, Adam Degroft and wife Alicia DeGroft, Amanda Lookingbill and husband Timothy Lookingbill, Joshua Ruppert and companion Carolyn Thomas; step grandchildren Samuel Silverman, Rachel Silverman, Charles Bowman, Robert Bowman, Bruce Cunningham and 10 great- grandchildren.

She is predeceased by grandson Edward A. Ruppert, a son-in- law Edward B. Ruppert, a stepson Claude S. Bowers, Jr., siblings Douglas Green, Filmore Green, Regina Hale, Clara Dell and Gulendya Ford.
