Connie Cinquino Obituary

Connie Marie (Byrns) Cinquino, OCDS, 70, of Catonsville, MD, and formerly of Westminster, passed away on January 21, 2021.  Born on July 14, 1950, in Gouverneur, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Vivian Byrns.  Connie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Michael Cinquino, and her two daughters, Christine Marie Larson (Michael) and Caroline Anne Cinquino Miller (Craig).  She was a beloved Granny to Nicolas, Piper, Aidan and Eden.  She is also survived by brother Louis Byrns of Edwards, NY, and sisters Marilyn Byrns of Jersey City, NJ, Linda Riles of Chesapeake, VA, Mary Rowley of Evans Mills, NY, and Evelyn Rohde of Spring Hill, FL.  Connie was a professional librarian, having worked at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, and later in Meadville, PA, and at Fort Clayton, Panama Canal Zone.  After years as a stay-at-home mom, she organized and volunteered at the parish library of St. John Church in Westminster, where she had been a member since 1988.  Connie later became a professed member of a secular Carmelite community, through which she was able to draw closer to the Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother.  She will be ever remembered as a kind, compassionate and loving person.

Because of COVID restrictions having to do with the grandchildren’s ability to attend school, the Funeral Mass will be private.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Mark S. Bialek at 12 noon on Monday, January 25, 2021 at St. John Church, Westminster for those who wish to watch online.  The Mass will be livestreamed at Facebook.com/SaintJohnWestminster/live.

The family would greatly appreciate memorial donations be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157, or CarrollHospice.org.

Condolences may be addressed to Joseph Cinquino, 719 Maiden Choice Ln., Apt. BR 309, Catonsville, MD 21228.
