Curtis Blake Gore

Curtis Blake Gore, 69, died on Wednesday, February 25,2026 at home. Born on June 30,1956 in Baltimore, he was the son of Charles and Shirley (Merryman) Gore. Curtis was predeceased by his brother Randy and his sister, Deborah. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Gore as well as stepdaughters Kirsten Chalk (Nicholas) and Lauren Jeffries (John) and his step grandchildren, Nathan and Brynna Chalk and Hannah, Leah and Jenna Jeffries.

Curtis worked in construction and caretaking but found the most pleasure in landscaping for others as well as landscaping his own property. Curtis loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping in mountain settings. He was a music lover, especially Southern rock and The Beatles.

As per Curtis’ wishes, there will be no services. In remembrance of him, friends and family can enjoy a day outside enjoying nature. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
