David Lawrence Green, 74, of Finksburg, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Dove House in Westminster. Born December 27, 1947 in Westminster, he was the son of the late David D. Green and Phyllis Lavinda Zepp Green. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Mae Warehime Green.
Before retiring his family owned and operated The Green Pallet Co. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1965 and then enlisted in the Navy. He was a member of Clearfield Bible Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter Kelly Koelber and husband Fred of Hampstead; sons David R. Green and wife Christina of Littlestown, PA; and Rusty D. Green of Westminster; step-children Nancy Sottile Warehime of Finksburg; Carey Andrade Jackson of Finksburg; 3 sisters Phyllis A. Smith, Ethel C. Muller and Carolyn Conaway; 5 brothers Richard A., John L., Randolph E., James A., and Thomas H. Green, 5 grandchildren Tim Koelber (Ashley), Cory Green, Tessa Green, Rusty Green, Jr. and Adam Green, 3 great-grandchildren Lola, Cora, Zoe, 5 step-grandchildren Jeffrey Kjeldgaard, Annaka and Jacob Jackson and Luca and Nino Sottile.
He was predeceased by 3 brothers Ronald L., Michael D., and William H. Green, step-son Neal Warehime and a great-granddaughter Lily Koelber.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ray Newman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
