David Jonathan Utz

David Jonathan Utz, 60, of Westminster, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2023 while on his vacation journey to Tennessee.  Born April 23, 1963 in Westminster, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Lillie (Esworthy) Utz. 

He worked in the construction business for many years and Eagle’s Trash Removal as a pitcher for 12 years.  David enjoyed NASCAR, football, baseball, spending time at the river, watching cartoons and spending time with his family.

He is survived by children Patricia Utz, David Utz, Jr., Belinda Utz, Dora Manning (Todd), Callie Jennings (Larry), sisters Brenda Milburn (John), Karen Cook (Mike) and Terri Gontarek (Wally), 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 4 nephews, 1 niece and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Union Mills Homestead in Silver Run.
