Dawn Marie Claypool, 60, of New Windsor, died Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at BridgingLife Dove House. She was born September 27, 1965 in Westminster. Dawn was the beloved wife of Dwaine F. Claypool.
She held many jobs including a Dispatcher with CATS, cafeteria employee with Carroll County Public Schools, English American and Maryland Cup. Dawn enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing, puzzles, crocheting and working with textiles.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son Damian Claypool and sister Wendi Saltsman and husband Jeffrey. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by mother Joan Wentz, father Donald Feeser and step-father Robert Kikta.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
