Debra Jean Wilson Obituary

Debra Jean Wilson, 69, of Montgomery County, died Friday, December 12, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center.  Born October 20, 1956 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Carl Poates and Mary Rose (Sheeler) Clark.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Wilson, Sr.


She worked as a customer service rep for American Red Cross.  Debra enjoyed Diamond Art and adventuring with her best friend Cooper.


Besides her mother, she is survived by children Angela Divver, Eddie Wilson, Jr. (Dawn) and Nikita Lewis (Durrell), brothers Lloyd and Richard Poates, grandchildren Bryan, Celina and Ameriha Divver, Diondre, Amaya and Giovanni Wilson, Dashawn (Karlie), Nevaeh and Damyan Lewis, great-grandchildren August, Dai’Lani, Da’Karie and one on the way.  Also survived by niece April Patterson and other nieces and nephews, and 4-legged great-grandchildren Meeko and Bean.


The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m.  Interment will be private.


Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family defray expenses.
