“Cooky” Delores Marie Wilson, 76, of Taneytown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born December 10, 1947 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Wilson and Doris Pearl Pittinger Wilson.

Before retiring, she was a caregiver at Brookfield Manor. She was a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years and loved her church. She also loved puzzles, flowers and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son Timothy Edgar Wilson; brothers Authur, Richard, Rocky, John, George and Samuel Wilson and sisters Annie Stitley, Connie Wilson and Beatrice Redding; grandchildren Mercede Petry, Tyler and Nickie Wilson; great-grandchildren Landon and Cooper Petry, Jaxson and Everleigh Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her brother Francis Wilson and her sister Constance Handley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Keymar Evangelical Wesleyan Church, 1011 Francis Scott Key Hwy, Keymar, MD 21757.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Keymar Evangelical Wesleyan Church in memory of “Cooky”.
