Diana Mae Jones, 77, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025. Born on April 4, 1948, in Bangor, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Sherwood and Winifred Jones.

Diana graduated from Bangor High School in 1966 and went on to earn her degree from East Stroudsburg University. Diana built a distinguished career as a television producer, specializing in medical stories that were broadcast on local news networks nationwide. Her work informed countless viewers and reflected her dedication to using her creativity and writing talent to make complex health issues accessible and understandable to the public.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Foster, and her son, Jason Foster. She is also survived by her brother Bruce Jones and his wife Suzanne Jones.

Diana will be remembered as a caring and devoted mother, sister, aunt, and steadfast friend whose sense of humor and genuineness enriched the lives of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 1–4 p.m. at The Manor at River Run, 412 Old Bachmans Valley Road, Westminster, MD 21157.
