Diane Lisa Olenginski

Diane Olenginski passed away peacefully at her home on September 6, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Harold and Veronica Kush Grochowski.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from College Misericordia (now Misericordia University) in 1977. In August 1977, she married Lawrence Olenginski. Soon after, they moved to Westminster, MD, where they raised their children - Allison, Kristopher, and Kevin. Diane spent more than 30 years as a Nurse Case Manager for Carroll Hospital Center, from where she retired in 2021. She loved spending time with her family, knitting, spending time at the beach, and cheering for the Ravens.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Veronica. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence, and their children Allison, Kristopher, and Kevin.

To honor Diane’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
