Donald Lee Stottlemyer, Sr., 81, of Hampstead, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Westminster Healthcare Center. Born on April 11, 1939 in Charlestown, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Stottlemyer and Margaret Ford Stottlemyer. He is survived by his wife Deborah Stottlemyer.
He was a Service Manager for Stuart Kitchens for 33 years. His hobbies were riding his motorcycle, watching and attending NASCAR races, and golfing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five children Donald Jr. and wife Cindy Stottlemyer of Baltimore, MD., Velvet Hammond of Charlestown WV., Christopher Stottlemyer and wife Jennifer of Ellicott City, MD., Diana Markle and husband Michael of Smithsburg, MD., and Michael Stottlemyer and wife Kristine of Baltimore MD; two brothers Charles Stottlemyer Jr., and Anthony Stottlemyer; three sisters Diana Ruffner, Shirley Roper, Barbara Gunder; eleven grandchildren Sabrina Hamilton, Christine Thomas, Ryan Markle, Jillian Horton, Taylor Gilly, Ashlyn Gilly, Julia Stottlemyer, Kayla Stottlemyer, Dylan Stottlemyer, Kaegan Stottlemyer, and Alisha Hammond; and four great-grandchildren Nicholas Hamilton, Carter Hamilton, Jason Thomas, and Adalynn Thomas.
He was predeceased by four sisters Becky Long, Margaret Boyd, Charlene Thompson, and Donna Stottlemyer.
