Donna Lynn Pineda

Donna Lynn Pineda, 65, of Westminster, died Sunday, April 17, 2022 at home.  Born February 20, 1957 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Wendy (Parker) Simmons of Stuart, FL and the late Jerome Simmons.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Jose “Joe” Pineda.

Before retiring Donna worked as a load specialist for BGE.  She enjoyed being a dog mom, spending time with her cats Desi and Lucy, traveling and camping in her RV.

Besides her husband, she is survived by children Chelsea Waggoner and husband Brent of Essex and Cameron Pineda and wife Georgeanna of Abingdon; brothers Jerome Simmons and wife Giesela and Richard Simmons and wife Laurie and an uncle Bill Tawes. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 12 noon.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
