Obituary
Donna (Skerritt) Upton, 89, of Westminster, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Northwest Hospice. Born May 3, 1932 in Loch Haven, PA, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Selts) Skerritt and Dr. Edward G. Skerritt. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Upton, Jr.
She was a homemaker and active member of Deer Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being in the church choir, helping with church suppers and being the wedding coordinator.
She is survived by children Cynthia Rae Bare and husband Galen of Westminster; Neil E. Upton of Westminster and Karen E. Zeback and husband John of Sykesville; grandchildren Justin Morgan and wife Trista of Daytona Beach, FL; Matthew Zeback and wife Amanda of Summerville, SC; and great-grandson Chase Zeback.
She was predeceased by her twin brother Terry D. Skerritt.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Deer Park United Methodist Church, 2205 Sykesville Rd., Westminster, MD, with her pastor, Rev. John Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Deer Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Deer Park United Methodist Church.
