Doris Kress Graybill, 85, of Finksburg, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Dove House. Born March 24, 1938 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry Cleveland Kress and Emma Ellen Bollinger Kress.

Before retiring, she worked at Carroll Hospital Center for 29 years in Sterile Processing and Distribution as a technician. Doris loved playing cards and enjoyed her weekly visits from her furry grandchildren Toby and Doodle. She was a member of Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her daughters Judy Elaine Tyree of Westminster, Pamela Joanne Shorb of Taneytown and Cynthia Dawn Wantz (Karl) of Westminster; sister Pat Martin (Harlan) of Westminster; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and her furry grandchildren Toby and Doodle. She is also survived by her special friends Nancy and Donald Grant.

She was predeceased by her husband Larry Elvin Graybill who passed away April 16, 1997, her son-in-law Lloyd Mark Tyree who passed away November 8, 2012 and her dog Bonnie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD. Interment will be private at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
