Dorothy K. Jones Leazer, 85, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Brightview in Westminster. Dorothy was born in Baltimore on October 21, 1935. She graduated from Kenwood High School. Before retiring she worked for C&P Telephone Company and Black and Decker. She was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Howard D. Leazer, 82, who died on February 1, 2015 in Florida. He was born June 9, 1932 in Rock Hill, SC. Howard served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Collett during the Korean Conflict. Before retiring he worked at Glenn L. Martin and DCA Corp.
They are survived by their children Michael H. Leazer and wife Debbie of Westminster, Bonnie Phillips and husband Robert of Cambridge; 5 grandchildren Jackie Englebrake, Christine Leazer, Stephanie Adams, Joshua Poole and Brieann Christopher; 6 great-grandchildren Ivan, Evan, Mason, Logan, Connor and Hazel.
Graveside services for Howard and Dorothy will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1601 Taylor Ave., Parkville, MD 21234, with military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Carroll County Hospice or the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster.
