Dwayne Alan Eckard, Sr., 65, of Manchester, died on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at UPMC York Hospital. Born October 7, 1960 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of the late Clarence Leslie Eckard, Sr. and Jeanette Yvonne Brashears Eckard.

He graduated from Westminster High School in 1978 and was a self-employed carpenter. He was raised and proud of his Methodist faith. Dwayne loved riding Harley motorcycles, going to car shows, he was a Corvette enthusiast and being with his children, grandchildren, friends and his dogs.

He is survived by his children Dwayne Eckard, Jr. (Evelyn), Bradley Eckard and Kristi Jarrells (Tim), sisters Lura and Lisa Eckard and brothers Charles Eckard (Jeanette) and Clarence (Skeeter) Eckard (Jannette), grandchildren Carter, Chloe, Oshi, Brayden, Leah, Bentley, Abby and Brayden. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and his dogs Squeakers and Ruby.

He was predeceased by his brother Gary Eckard.

The family will receive friends from 2 -4 and 6 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster, MD. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at St. James Cemetery at Dennings at 11:00 a.m.

In keeping with Dwayne’s loving and generous spirit, he was a donor so that others may live a better life.
