Earl Kenneth Utz

Earl Kenneth Utz, 73, of Westminster, died on Thursday, March 26, 2020 unexpectedly at home.  Born October 22, 1946, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Earl Samuel Utz and Lillian Alice Keeney Utz.  Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley Lee Utz.

He was employed as a welder and enjoyed working on the farm, raising cows, horseback riding, going to Charlestown, spending time with family, friends and especially the grandchildren.  He served in the Army in Vietnam and was a member of the Littlestown Eagles, Gettysburg Eagles and the Harney VFW.

Besides his wife, he is survived daughters Kimberly Utz Sentz of Aspers, PA and Angela Utz Conley and husband Michael of Gettysburg, PA; three brothers Robert Utz and wife Lynn of Manchester, Ronald Utz and wife Brenda of Littlestown, PA and Donald Utz of Emmittsburg; 4 grandchildren Colton and Matthew Sentz, Charles and Owen Conley.

He was predeceased by sisters Doris and Tammy Utz and a brother Richard Utz.

A private gathering will be held at the farm at a later date.
