Earle Edward Cummings, 89, of Littlestown, PA., died on September 12, 2021 at Gettysburg Hospital. Born on September 22, 1931 in Westminster, he was the son of the late Paul B. Cummings and Mary Lambert. He was the husband of the late Tilly E. Cummings.
He served 20 years in the Army as a Staff Sergeant before retiring in 1968. He also retired from Black and Decker. He then worked part time at Kegels, and his hobbies were antiques and clock repair.
He is survived by three daughters, Darlene Trimper (Robert), Bonnie Barnes, and Dianne Gebhart (Dennis); one sister Peggy J. Stultz; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three daughters, Tina Gill, Connie Jean Legore, and Marlene C. Swallows, brother Stewart L. Cummings, and grandchildren Matthew Legore and Gretchen Gebhart.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sandymount Cemetery with Military Honors.
