Elaine Louise Schnauble Holmes, 66, died March 20, 2023, at Carroll Lutheran Village Healthcare Center. Born March 18, 1957 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howell Levere Schnauble and Hilda Louise Arbaugh Schnauble.

She was raised in Westminster and graduated from Westminster High School. She got to travel the world as an Air Force spouse, spending time in Maine, Texas, Virginia, and Okinawa, Japan before settling down in Niceville, Florida. During this time she worked many jobs but most enjoyed the ones where she got to interact with children. After moving back to Westminster, she enjoyed visiting her family and spending time in Florida, her favorite place.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Jeffrey Holmes, wife Kate and new grandson Parker, who she was so excited to meet. She was predeceased by her brother Emerson Schnauble.

Graveside services at Westminster Cemetery will be private.
