Elijah Jacob Crouse, 20, of Manchester, departed us Sunday, April 7, 2024. Born October 25, 2003 in Maryland, he was the son of Elizabeth Ann Crouse and Justin Burnell Utz.

Elijah was a fun loving guy that liked to make other’s smile and be happy. He was funny, a jokester and a comedian, if he wasn’t making other people laugh and smile, he wasn’t happy. He loved music, dancing, fishing and crabbing, wrestling, basketball and Michael Jordon was his favorite player and he was very athletic. Elijah was very business mind oriented and a go getter. He especially loved his family and animals.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings Hailey Utz and Lucas Frebertshauser; maternal grandparents Marty Crouse and Diane Pearce; paternal grandparents Douglas and Lori Utz as well as Teresa Hill; aunts Tiffany Warner, Amber Crouse and Krista Mosser and uncle Dakota Utz and his beloved dogs Snickers, Izzy and BB.

He was predeceased by his maternal great-grandparents Leroy and Minnie Crouse and Richard Tracey; paternal great grandparents Burnell Utz, Iva Edna Clabaugh and George and Janet Hill and his dog Sweetie.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. A memorial service will start at 3:00 p.m.
