Ella Yelton Obituary

Ella Mae Yelton, 67, of Hanover, PA, departed this life Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Hanover Hospital.  Ella was born August 9, 1952 in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Charlotte and Martin Somerville.  She was the beloved wife of the late Billy Joe Yelton.

Ella’s passions were Bingo and the Baltimore Orioles. At the time of her death, she was happily employed as a receptionist at Harper House in Maryland.

Ella is survived by her sons Sam Sunderland and wife Danielle of Hanover, PA and Sean Sunderland and wife Wendy of Pikesville; a sister Charlotte Rickell and brother George Moores and wife Sandra, and her grandchildren she cherished, Megan, Sean Jr., Holly, Hannah, and Matthew.  Additionally, she held dear many of the close relationships she had with family, friends, and coworkers.

She was predeceased by a sister Mary McMullen.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery in Reisterstown.
