On Wednesday, January 10, Ellen Hartle passed away unexpectedly at home. Ellen was born in Baltimore, MD but lived in Westminster most of her life. Ellen was the heart of her family, she was the one everyone called to talk to or just get her wonderful advice. Her love for life was unmatched, she loved to spend time with her daughter and grandkids at her beach condo. She was an avid pickleball player and loved to spend time with her friends hiking, biking or just going to dinner.

She is survived by her daughter Christine Hartle-Grieco and son in law, Donald Grieco. Grandkids, Angelina Kaufman, Clint Kaufman, Reagan Grieco, Dominick Grieco and Gabriella Grieco. Brother, James R. Warfield III, Nephew, Bruce Warfield Jr. and Wendy Dersh and kids, Alex Warfield, Hailey Warfield and Kyle Warfield along with many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leroy "Pete" B. Hartle and her parents, James R. Warfield Sr. and Ethel Patterson Warfield. Siblings, Bruce Warfield Sr., Patricia Warfield and her twin brother Charles Warfield.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m.
