Eugenia “Genie” Klohr, 59, of Hampstead passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Born June 16, 1964 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. Rathell and Eugenia M. Ortiz.

Genie was a jack of all trades. She was a Christian woman and a member at St. Benjamin’s (Krider’s) Lutheran Church, as well as an Orioles fan (Go O’s!). She was an avid reader, Civil War re-enactor, dog lover, and enjoyed following local bands and listening to country music. She was a social butterfly, and loved to spark up conversation with anyone. She also enjoyed NASCAR.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son James Arthur Klohr, who passed January 25, 2006.

Visitation will take place at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 254 East Main St, Westminster, MD 21157, on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 P.M with Rev. David Schafer officiating.

Inurnment will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00 A.M at St. Benjamin's Krider’s Church Cemetery.
