Evelyn Louise Wilson, 86, of Hanover, PA, died Friday, May 16, 2025 at her home in Hanover, PA.  Born July 16, 1938 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Harry Ambrose Nusbaum and Ida Elizabeth Martin Nusbaum.  Her husband Thomas Daniel Wilson died in 2009.

Before retiring she worked at various jobs.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, and being with her family.

She is survived by 2 children Curtis A. Miller (Kathy) of Hanover, PA and Sandy L. Rickell (Mark) of Hampstead.  Also survived by 9 grandchildren Melissa, Nikki, Michelle, Lindsay, Megan, Jacob, Andrea, Philip and Tristan; 7 great-grandchildren Kayla, Kollin, Avery, J.T., Harlie, Liam and Ella and loving and devoted companion Calvin Rickell.

She was predeceased by a son Walter E. “Butch” Miller, 8 siblings Mary Gist, Robert A. Nusbaum, Betty Haines, James Nusbaum, Henry Nusbaum, Dorothy Johnston, Janet Bookhultz and Donald Nusbaum.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Virginia Price officiating.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
