Fern Violet Crabill, of Manchester, Maryland, passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 72 following an extended battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Betty Kemp, Douglas Armstrong and her step-father Paul Kemp. She was the youngest of her predeceased 9 brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Crabill, Sr., daughters Tammy Shelly and Emily Dicky, sons Dillon Crabill, Michael Crabill, Jr. and Brady Crabill.
She was born on August 14, 1951 in Baltimore and grew up in Randallstown. She worked for Baltimore County Transportation for over 30 years. She started as a bus driver with the county and continued her career as a Routing Assistant, while still driving as well. She loved spending time with family and friends. She had a strong faith and believed in God. Fern loved humor and enjoyed sharing funny jokes and laughing. She was a loving mother and shared her love and compassion with others. Some of her passions were baking, cooking, bingo, Hallmark movies and Christmas shows. She was also known as a prankster by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled to celebrate Fern’s life.
