Floretta Mildred Rill Doster, 90, of Freeland, MD. died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at York Hospital. Born February 12, 1934 in Patapsco, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. Rill and Mildred Viola Knight Rill.

She was predeceased by her husband James W. Doster, who died on September 28, 2010.

Before retiring she worked for the Baltimore County Board of Education. She enjoyed baking cakes, especially wedding cakes.

She is survived by her 2 children; Connie E. Wood of Freeland, MD. and Sandra D. Shirey (Neil) of Windsor, PA. and 2 grandchildren; Jaime Wood and Nathan Shirey.

She is also survived by 2 brothers; Roy L. Rill (Belinda) of Gettysburg, PA. and Emerson R. “Bo” Rill (Ginger) of Westminster, MD. Also survived by cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10-12 noon on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Mt Zion United Methodist Church in Freeland, MD.
