Franklin Dabney Eastham, IV, 85, of Westminster, Maryland, died Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Bethania Care Home. Born January 15, 1937 in North Carolina. He was the son of the late Franklin D. Eastham, III, and Eva Smoot Eastham.
He graduated from the University of Maryland. Before retiring, he was a teacher at Westminster High School and the Carroll County Career and Technology Center. He served in the Air Force, was an Eagle Scout and was a devoted member Stone Chapel United Methodist Church.
He was predeceased by his brothers, William E. Bacon and wife Eunice of California and D. Thomas Eastham and wife Kathleen of Oregon.
He is survived by his brother Dr. Frank Bacon and wife Kathleen of Illinois.
Also survived by nieces and nephews: Michael T. Eastham of Alaska, Kathleen Eastham Evans of Oregon, Robert M. Eastham and wife Linda of Oregon, David Bacon and wife Kristin Urbinati of North Carolina, Dr. Lawrence Bacon and wife Elizabeth of Michigan, Christopher Bacon of California, Dr. Patrick Bacon and wife Dr. Janet Settle of Colorado, Dr. Donald Bacon and wife Dr. Kim Stewart of Colorado.
Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1:00p.m. at Warsaw United Methodist Church Cemetery in Warsaw, Virginia.
