Georgia Elaine Myers, nee Zepp, 70, of Westminster, MD passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 17, 2023. She was born on October 19, 1952 in Hanover, PA to the late Dorothy Louise Close and George Wilbur Zepp. Georgia was the devoted wife of John Michael “Mike” Robbins.
She graduated from Westminster High School in 1970 and then began a 42 year career with the Social Security Administration rising from a typist in the typing pool to serving in an executive position as SSA’s Regulation Officer. Her passion was organizing and volunteering to help others. She dedicated her life to serving her family and the community.
Georgia is survived her husband, by sons Russell W. Myers, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Orrtanna, PA, and Christopher R. Family would often kid her about being related to everyone in the county.
In addition to her parents Georgia was predeceased by stepfathers Richard Lee Bloom, Sr., Donald Albert Gross, brothers Richard Lee Bloom, Jr., and Russell Wayne Bloom, Sr.
Georgia always wore the glow of a smile and a kind heart for everyone, but her driving passion was volunteerism.
