Gerald T. Ford, 90, of Sykesville, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at BridgingLife Dove House.  Born August 29, 1933 in Gamber, he was the son of the late Evelyn (Barnes) Ford and Henry T. Ford.  He was the husband of the late Mary Lou Ford.

He was employed as a tool and die maker.  He enjoyed clocks, watches and watching the Orioles and Ravens.

He is survived by children Robin Ford and wife Shirlyn-Evans Ford of Hampstead; Kelly Ford-Brill and husband Barry of Hunt Valley; Julie Ford-Mount and husband David of Westminster and Gregory Kurth-Ford and wife Stacy of Westminster; grandchildren Mary, Alyssa, Danny, Nick, Sean, Nate, Max and Sammy and great-grandchildren Eliza and Delilah.

He was predeceased by siblings Sue Arbaugh, Inez Palmer, Edsel Ford, Wilda Benson and Henry Ford, Jr.

Private graveside services will be at Providence Cemetery in Gamber.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. at 2900 Shiloh Rd., Hampstead, MD 21074.
