Harry Francis Hertrich, Jr., 85, of North Topsail Beach, NC, passed away at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born December 2, 1940 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harry Francis Hertrich, Sr. and Agnes Frances Bobenrieth Hertrich. He was the loving husband of 62 years to Virginia Carolyn Hertrich.

Harry enjoyed traveling and living at the beach.

He is survived by his children Ron Hertrich (Carol) and Amy Shusterman (Jeff); brother Joe Hertrich (Linda) and sister Marilynne Lesher (Frank); grandchildren Tim Hertrich (Heather), Ashley McFaden (Kevin), Bryan Shusterman (Anna), Mark Shusterman (Alli), Jonathan Shusterman (Kaylin) and Nicole Shusterman (Logan); great-grandchildren Noah Shusterman, Bodhi Shusterman, Charleigh McFaden and Danny Shusterman.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158.

A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m.
