Hyacinth V. “Cherry” Lee-Young, 85, of Westminster, died Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living.  Born December 6, 1939 in Jamaica, West Indies, she was the daughter of the late Mary and George Lowe.  She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Lee-Young, Sr. 

She was a homemaker and member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Baltimore.  She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, Bingo and was an avid gardener. 

She is survived by children Helena Cahoon and husband Don of Livermore, CA; Alfred W. Lee-Young and wife Kathryn of Westminster; Christine Gruenfelder and husband Peter of Germantown; and Bridget Lee-Young and husband Marc of Kerrville, TX; grandchildren Charlie, Kirsten, Ryan, Andrew, Alexa, Marcus, Nicholas, Simmons and Marleigh; and great-grandchildren Zane, Caden and Evelyn Louise; siblings Victory Lowe, Yvonne Wong, Allan Lowe, and Brenda Lowe-Khouri.

She was predeceased by siblings Grace Lee, Patsy Lowe and Anthony Lowe.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Prayer services will be held at 12 p.m.  Interment will follow at New Cathedral Cemetery.
