James Edgar McElroy, 93, 0f Westminster died January 27, 2026 at Westminster Healthcare Center. Born May 20, 1932, he was the son of the late James W. McElroy and Mary McElroy. He was the husband of the late Ruth McElroy.
He worked for Southern States in Westminster. He loved fishing and going on the boat. He also loved watching western TV shows.
He is survived by his children Doreen Blizzard and her husband Robert, Linda Arrington and her husband Randy, Michael McElroy and his wife Cathy, Debbie Barrett and her husband Paul, Kathy Shaffer and her husband Danny and Michelle Turnbaugh; sister Brenda Sparks, brothers Ronnie, William and Martin McElroy. He has 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his son Lesly McElroy and his sister Joann Reazin.
