James Ronald Pittman Jr, 60, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 4, 2025. James was born on October 10, 1964, in Aiken, South Carolina. He was the son of the late James Ronald Pittman Sr. and Fannie Gray (Brown) Pittman. He leaves behind his loving wife Peggy Pittman of Westminster, Maryland. He is survived by his sister Frances Pittman Mindak; his two sons Christian Pittman, Michael Pittman and wife Emily Pittman; Stepchildren Ashley Combs, Raymond Combs, Casey Pack and Husband Josh Pack; Grandchildren Corbin, Beau, Sophia, and Aidoneus Pittman, Kyleigh, Reagan, and Joshua Pack, Skylar Thomas and Makenzie Kelly. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Kinsley.

James devoted many years to the U.S Navy. Though James was born in South Carolina, he was raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. James enjoyed spending time with his family, watching paranormal horror movies, funny videos and causing playful chaos with his family. James enjoyed educating those around him about the word of God. James also enjoyed traveling back to North Carolina where he and his family resided.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery.
