James Louis Warfield

James Louis Warfield, 89, of Westminster, died Saturday, January 4, 2025 at BridingLife Dove House. Born September 7, 1935 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Albert Gilmore Warfield and Ruth Virginia Corun Warfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Esther Warfield, who passed away on December 6, 2024.

Before retiring, he was a logistics analyst for NSA. He had his Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University. James was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his children Sharon Grimes, Sandra Warfield and Patricia Dlugos (William), 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers.

Private services and interment will be held on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Silver Run
